In 1981, three friends – Debbie LeBrun, Kendra West-Senor and Joyce McDonough (pictured left to right) – met while working at the Concord Monitor in the circulation department. They have helped each other through marriages, kids, divorce, jobs, moves, health issues and more. While West-Senor and LeBrun still live in the area, McDonough moved to the Southwest and currently lives near Phoenix. For many years they took an annual getaway together, but a trip to Myrtle Beach recently was a chance to catch up after six years. “It was great to share some laughs, walk the beach and play a little (maybe more than a little),” wrote West-Senor. They have loved each other for 37 years, and always will. How sweet!
If you’re going somewhere cool anytime soon, bring a copy of the Insider along with you and take a picture of yourself and/or your group holding it front of something famous, memorable or just picturesque. Then send us the photo at news@theconcordinsider.com. We’ll run the pictures in the order in which they were received, as space allows.
