At some point or another, we’ve all dreamt about being a rock star.
Sadly, it’s a lifestyle that only a chosen few get to lead.
And outside of Halloween, it’s not always an acceptable practice to casually walk around wearing leather pants, no shirt and big gold chains.
We know, life isn’t always fair, so it’s a good thing the powers that be at Rock ‘N Race not only enjoy music, but are actually encouraging anyone and everyone taking part in the event to dress up like a rock star.
So remember that Slash getup you’ve been saving for the perfect Halloween party? Well, it’s time to bust it out.
All you have to do to be eligible for what we consider to be a pretty sweet prize is register for this year’s race.
While you’re out putting in your miles for the day, judges will be stationed throughout the course taking notes of the most rock star-worthy getup.
The top two rock stars will each receive two tickets to the Red Sox-Seattle Mariners game scheduled for Saturday, May 27 at 4 p.m. The winners will be announced at 7 p.m. the day of the race.
So to recap, show up to Rock ‘N race wearing an outfit that screams rock ’n’ roll, run in this year’s race and you might win free tickets for a Red Sox game.
Sounds like an easy decision to us.
