The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services has awarded Concord General Services’ Wastewater Treatment Division with the 2017 Outstanding Public Outreach Award. The award recognizes efforts to educate the public about wastewater. The Wastewater Treatment Division has demonstrated public outreach through facility tours, brochures, website updates, social media, news releases and participation at community events. Additional promotional efforts have increased attention to wastewater operations, water quality and benefits of biosolids.
