When Wolf’s daughter tells Alex that her father was murdered, Alex wants to get involved, especially since long-time co-workers Mike Chapman and Mercer Wallace are working the case, but is warned off working by her boss. While suffering from PTSD episodes, Alex still manages to ferret out a number of dirty secrets of the Savage fashion empire that help lead to the killer, even though she is not officially assigned to the case. The thrilling conclusion is set in the Metropolitan Museum, adding interesting details to the unexpected ending.
