We took a trip to Penuche’s last week to see what was on tap. Of all the options, the Founders Porter sounded the best at the time.
This beer is dark and toasty, with a surprisingly dry finish. It’s an all-around pleasure to consume. If you like the thicker texture of a porter, you’ll love this one.
This particular pint had very little foam, though the bartender did pour some off. Some people like a nice head on their beer, but we don’t care – less foam means more beer.
The flavor combinations are soft and mellow, making this a very drinkable beer for any occasion.
