ConcordTV is still seeking nominations for the most fascinating individuals from the Concord area.
The deadline is fast approaching, and if you missed the first time we put a call out, here’s all the info you need to know.
You must fill out the nomination form – which includes all your info, the name of the person you’re nominating, a way to contact them and a reason for their nomination – and return it by Sept. 23.
And here’s the criteria: The person must be active in the Concord community; currently live or work in a 30-mile radius of Concord; be an individual, not a couple or a group, and not be a staff or board member of ConcordTV.
If you know someone who fits that model, why not give them a shout out? Because the most fascinating individuals selected get a little TV gig out of this. They will be featured during ConcordTV’s 12-hour live telecast of Concord On Air that will be broadcast on Concord’s three local cable channels (channel 22, 17 and 6) on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and streamed online at yourconcordtv.org.
Names of individuals selected will be announced Oct. 3.
Concord On Air is just another way to show off how cool Concord really is – celebrating the citizens and culture. The telecast features stories on the city’s government, schools, businesses, nonprofits, neighborhoods and arts and culture.
