After finding out that The Draft is the best place in Concord to watch sports according the Cappie Award voting, we figured why not head down there for a beer.
With 24 taps, projection screens upstairs and too many flat screens to count in the bar area, there had to be something good to report back about. This is, after all, called Tasty Brews, not “we tried a gross beer, but now we have to write about it.”
So after scanning the draft lines a few times, we figured why not ask what’s new? What’s popular?
We were at the mercy of our bartender, looking for a good suggestion. And what we got was Stoneface IPA. Not only is it brewed in New Hampshire, but it’s the best selling draft at The Draft. Can you say sold?
We’d never turn down an IPA recommendation. And are we sure glad we took it.
This is an IPA that everyone from the Granite State would enjoy. It’s got a great balance of being hoppy enough, but not all up in your taste buds kind of hoppy.
So we give it two thumbs, especially when asked if we would like another.
