Youth Fishing Day, sponsored by the Basil W. Woods, Jr. Chapter of Trout Unlimited, will be held at Merrill Park on Eastman Street in Concord on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fishing is in a stocked trout pond for persons under 16 years old. Children under 10 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
There will be refreshments, fly casting instruction and fly tying demonstrations. Tackle and bait is provided – or bring your own. Admission is free.
