All good things must come to an end.
So this Saturday, it’s time to say goodbye to the Winter Farmers’ Market at Cole Gardens until November, as the annual showcase of local farmers and food artisans closes down after another season.
And while this might be sad news in the long run, for this week it should be a happy occasion.
Because it means you’ve got one final chance to grab all the fresh fruits and veggies, dairy products, breads and all the other delicious, nutritious and organic things that are too long to list here that appear at the weekly indoor market that can be found inside the Cole Gardens greenhouse.
But just to give you a few more ideas as to what you might find, if you’ve never been, in addition to the items listed about, you can find flowers and plants, maple goods, baked goods, meat and fish.
The market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and has been doing so just about every week since the first Saturday in November.
Like most weeks, there will be samples to try and music to enjoy, with James Barnes handling the final performance.

And don’t forget, the Concord Farmers Market on Capitol Street, begins May 7 at 8:30 a.m.
