Has it been too long since you last donned a pair of wooden clogs and frolicked around a field singing songs with friends and family?
If so, you can scratch that itch Sunday – you’ll just have to go to Red River Theatres instead of some random field.
That’s because the movie theater is hosting a Sound of Music sing-along, in which dozens of people will get together to sing their hearts out in the dark – you can pretend you’re in a picturesque meadow somewhere if you’d like.
Put on a costume – or don’t, and run the risk of being the lone party pooper – and grab some friends. Red River will provide props (think whistles, some of the favorite things, etc.), photo ops, trivia, a costume contest and more.
It starts at 1:30 p.m. and tickets are $15, $13 for members and $10 for children/students.
