At NHTI, they kind of like to have fun. Whether it’s wheelchair basketball games, an Olympic-style athletic competition or epic pizza battles, there’s always something cool going on over there.
The next cool thing is the Spring Comedy Show on Friday at NHTI’s Wellness Center.
NHTI’s Spring Comedy Show was designed as a way to bring the college and the community together for a night of entertainment before the school year comes to a close.
Past headliners have included Bob Marley (the comedian from Maine, not the King of Reggae), Bill Burr, Ralphie May, Stephen Lynch and Dave Coulier.
With this year’s performer, Chris Distefano, the show is sure to be entertaining, fun and exciting.
Distefano has performed at all the hot clubs across New York City, and has been heard on Sirius XM radio. He’s also a regular on MTV2’s Guy Code and he participated in Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch showcase as part of the New York Comedy Festival.
Opening for Distefano is Eric O’Shea, a six-time nominee for Campus Activities Magazine’s National Comedy Performer of the Year.
Tickets are $20 for the community and $10 for NHTI students and alumni and can be purchased at nhti.edu/comedy-show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; showtime is 7:30.
