During February, NHTI held a photo contest among staffers to see who was the best with a camera in their hand. Nine photos were entered and hung on the library wall for visitors to vote on. In case you missed the previous spread in the “Insider” last month (shame on you), there were some pretty great pictures. We had a feeling it would be a hard choice for voters, kind of like which issue of the “Insider” is your favorite. (Hint: It’s all of them.) But somehow, some way, a winner was chosen. Yes, the people have spoken and like any important vote, it’s our duty to pass along the decision made by the people, for the people. Drum roll, please. . . Congratulations to Steve Ambra, who took home first place with his shot in Mürren, Switzerland. Sarah Hebert was chosen in the runner-up position for her pic in Agra, India. And Matt Potter’s scenic shot of Boothbay, Maine was selected to round out the top three. Geez, the people who work at NHTI sure travel to some exotic locations.
