This is a little last minute, but the pure deliciousness of what we’re about to tell you about will far outweigh any stress that will ensue.
So get ready to hop online and buy some tickets because you’ll want to be at the Grappone Conference Center on Saturday. It’s the sixth annual New Hampshire’s Own Macaroni and Cheese Bake Off – and as you could probably tell from the name of the event, there will be lots of mac and cheese to eat.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. That means not a single one will be sold at the door, so you have until Friday to secure your spot. But don’t wait until the last minute like we do, cause there’s only so many spots available and you don’t want to miss this.
Cost is $16 for adults and children 10 and under are free.
As of late last week, 28 mac and cheese cookers had signed up to vie for the title of grand champion and the people’s choice award. And to make delicious mac and cheese for you to eat.
There will be some traditional mac and cheese dishes to try along with a few recipes, that might be a little outside the box, like ones that include lobster, smoky bacon, cajun, sausage and maple. There’s even one that signed on to make an apple crisp mac and cheese.
The bake off runs 1 to 3 p.m. and is all you can eat, including drinks.
