1. As is well documented, we like to eat. So we had to have at least one clue dealing with food and what says happy holidays more than an inflatable Santa hanging out on the Constantly Pizza patio on South Main Street.
2. You may have thought we were sneaking around someone’s yard to snap this pic, but it was actually the star on top of Penacook’s tree in Boudreau Square.
3. We saw this Santa and snowman combo in the windows of the Concord Family YMCA one morning, hence why the clue said that village people like to go there. You know, because of that song.
4. A lot of businesses put up giant wreaths, but
Delta Dental took it to the extreme this year.
5. The East Concord Garden Club has been around for 80 years and taking care of Pecker Memorial Park is one of their big endeavors each year. That’s probably why this sign was in the park.
6. We spotted this festive holiday display a little late for the lights and decorations issue, but it is so well put together we had to include it. This one was at a private residence off Bow Center Road, just past the elementary school.
7. We weren’t sure if the famous wrestler clue would throw people off, but the retirement community piece made it a little more obvious. Anyways, this sleigh filled with presents was outside Havenwood Heritage Heights, in front of Tad’s Place, off East Side Drive.
8. From wreaths to trees, ornaments and decorations, Cobblestone has everything you’d ever need for your house – including lots of snowmen.
