We like to think we do good enough work that we’ll get a few thank-yous now and again. Sure we get emails from time to time and hear nice things when we’re bee boppin’ around town – we’ve even gotten a couple boxes of homemade cookies. But when those niceties spill over to social media for the whole world to see (or at least a small section of it), you know you’ve arrived.
To our pleasant surprise, there’s been a recent run of postings on Instagram lately with pictures of the paper and a nice little note attached.
In the last week and a half, we’ve had three such shoutouts, and if you go back even further there’s more.
Now we could try to explain all the wonderful things that have been said about us, but why take away from our faithful readers? As you’ll see, they clearly spent a long time trying to come up with just the right things to say.
Top left: @luckysbarbershop said “Thank you to @concordinsider @concordmonitor for helping spread the word about @movember and the great things they are doing to help spread the word about mens mental and physical health. Also a great article about SNOB Film Festival which kicks off this weekend!”
Top right: @putnam18 said “I just love opening The Insider and seeing my walk through town! Thank you @concordinsider for sharing my picture.”
Bottom left: And @iangoesoutside said “This week’s Concord Insider is a good one! The Wests appear twice! Nice shot Emily @ironeyewest. Big shout out to @concordinsider for the features and @cypn for the interview. Also, thanks to The Barley House @barley132 for always being awesome! #concordnh #concordcoolkids #concordinsider #cypn #cypn2015.”
And if you want further proof, @pincoske gave us a shoutout for putting his ragdolls in the Pets Issue and @zoeandcoprobrafitters definitely dug the story we put together on their international award.
Yep, we’re that good.
