On Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 6:30 p.m., in the Concord Public Library auditorium, The High Strung Strummers will entertain audiences of all ages.
This high energy duo specializes in old-time dance music and ballads. Lead vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Sarah Jane Nelson has been playing in folk festivals, contra dances and regional events for more than a decade. Cathy Mason is a highly accomplished fiddler and music instructor.
They delight audiences with the rich harmonies and rhythmic accents of their “twin” fiddling. This program is sponsored by the Concord Public Library Foundation.
