Double Midnight Comics of Manchester and Concord are joining thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating the comic book art form Saturday, May 2. On Free Comic Book Day, over 4 million comic books will be given away by participating stores, introducing as many people as possible to the wonders of comic books!
“The wide array of comic books being published today ensures that readers of all ages – children, teens and adults – can find something appropriate that will stir their imaginations,” said Chris Proulx, co-owner of Double Midnight Comics.
Celebrating its thirteenth year, Free Comic Book Day has proven to be a smashing success, spreading the word that comics are terrific reading.
Free Comic Book Day at Double Midnight Comics is the biggest party of the year. The Concord Double Midnight Comics will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day with a kick off Superhero movie party at Red River Theatres, a variety of artists in store, face painting and a coloring contest for kids. This year over 20 downtown merchants will be offering special Free Comic Book Day offers.
