The NHTI Film Society proudly presents Particle Fever (Not Rated; 2013; 99 minutes), Friday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in the Sweeney Auditorium.
Can a documentary film about particle physics and the Hadron collider be dramatic, suspenseful and thrilling? You bet. This award-winning film about the huge super collider located in Switzerland follows the creation of the facility and is about colliding sub-atomic particles at an incredible speed to search for clues about the universe. A brilliant film that is both intelligible and accessible.
Admission is by donation ($5 suggested); free with an NHTI student ID. For more information, contact Steve Ambra at 271-6484, ext. 4101 or sambra@ccsnh.edu.
