The Concord Chorale will perform its midwinter concert, Eventide, on Jan. 16, 17 and 18. The songs of Brahms, Haydn, Lauridsen and Barber plus arranger Craig Hella Johnson follow a journey from the long, dark nights of winter to the awakening of lighter days. It is a lush and lively concert that includes solo performances from several Chorale members, and showcases piano accompanist, Molly Lozeau.
The concerts on Jan. 16 and 18 will be held at Concord Unitarian Universalist Church, 274 Pleasant St. The Jan. 16 show will be at 7 p.m., while the Jan. 18 show will be at 3 p.m. The Jan. 17 show is at the Christ Church of Exeter, at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $20 general admission and $15 for students/seniors and are available from chorale members, at the Merrimack County Savings Bank, Main Street, and at Bona Fide Goods, 35 S. Main St. or by calling 463-5504. Also, visit us at concordchorale.org and on Facebook.
