With new designs for lighting and wayfinding signage yet to be decided for Concord’s Main Street project, downtown merchants, the public and other interested parties will receive the opportunity to learn more and ask questions regarding these plans for the upcoming future.
During this week, there will be three informational meetings held downtown. The first two, which are being sponsored by the Merchant’s Round Table, will take place Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the Holiday Inn. The first will be held at 8:30 a.m., the second at 6 p.m.
The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce will host a third session, which will be held at the chamber building at 49 S. Main St. on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 5 p.m.
A final opportunity for public input on these designs will take place at the next city council meeting, which is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 12. This meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the city council chambers.
