Five Rivers’ Third Annual West End Farm Trail Hike begins anytime from noon to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2 at Dimond Hill Farm.
The hike will start at Dimond Hill Farm and hike 4 miles through woods, fields and farmlands. It will pass scenic wetlands and amble over hills and some uneven terrain en route to Carter Hill Orchard. Then, finish with cider and donuts and a live raptor presentation by Phil Brown of N.H. Audubon.
Shuttles will be available at Carter Hill Orchard to transport hikers back to their vehicles. This program is co-sponsored by N.H. Audubon and the Concord Conservation Commission, with financial support from Grappone Toyota/Scion. To help plan for parking, food and shuttles, please RSVP to Julie Pifer, jpifer@5rct.org, at Five Rivers, or 225-7225.
