On Nov. 1, Get Fit NH is inviting the Concord community to visit the Clean out the Closet Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Given the success that Get Fit NH clients have losing weight and changing clothing sizes, shoppers can expect an enormous selection of clothing at yard sale prices.
Yard sale vendors and participants are generously donating a portion of the proceeds to Operation Hat Trick, an organization which generates awareness, support and funding for the recovery of America’s wounded warriors, both active service members and veterans. In addition, all unsold items will be donated to Open Hands Resource Center, Concord’s Homeless Shelter.
Health and fitness vendors will be in attendance as well as offering their services. Get Fit NH, Evolution Rock, Runner’s Alley, Chichester Massage, Peace and Balance Body Therapies will be just some of the local businesses sharing their services.
In the weeks before the event, clients, coaches and friends have been doing some pre-winter rather than spring cleaning and the results will be a mountain of yard sale merchandise. The public is also invited to take advantage of this opportunity to drop off clothing, toiletries, household items or linens and Get Fit NH will gratefully add them to the items being donated.
