Each week, City Manager Tom Aspell rearranges his dorm room to take better advantage of the feng shui, meticulously positioning his collection of Beanie Babies into elaborate scenes based on town council meetings. This time the alignment happens to spell out a city memo!
On parking, What say you?
And why say you that?
The city is seeking the public’s input on parking issues affecting the downtown Concord area, Aspell writes. By completing a short survey, you will help the city develop a deeper understanding of how well its existing parking sup-plies, policies and management approach are serving the needs and expectations of downtown business owners, employees, residents and visitors. We proposed multi-level parking, with spaces on top of other spaces, so we’ll wait to see how that’s received.
If you wear “multiple hats” as a downtown stakeholder, or just because your head is cold, or your downtown experience is more complex than the survey questions allow you to indicate, you may repeat the survey, varying your responses as necessary to provide the level of detail required to capture your experiences. The survey can be found at: surveymonkey.com/s/concordparking.
