Intown Concord, in partnership the Merchants Roundtable, will host the first Discover Downtown event Sept. 19. Discover Downtown is a new event series and campaign designed to bring people to the heart of Concord for shopping, dining, enjoying, and building community.
During Discover Downtown, more than 45 downtown stores and businesses will extend their hours until 8 p.m. or later, and will feature special promotions, discounts, raffles, refreshments, giveaways, demonstrations and more. In addition to a fun and festive evening of shopping, Discover Downtown will also showcase local artists, music, and entertainment.
This early fall evening will be a perfect time to make a date with your family and friends and take a stroll along Main Street and charming side streets to discover or rediscover historic downtown. Attend Discover Downtown and get ready to be newly impressed by the variety and uniqueness of downtown Concord: Enjoy distinctive shopping; visit one of several new downtown shops; sample food, wine and beer; listen to music; watch an artist at work; get immersed in a product demonstration; and then top off your evening with a delicious dinner at one of our many downtown restaurants.
Parking in the three downtown garages is free after 5 p.m. All city garages offer easy access to downtown and ample parking for those with disabilities.
Discover Downtown is also the perfect opportunity to use your Downtown Dollars – shop local and support the local economy.
