Reader Larry Levinson isn’t actually almost 150 years old – he snapped this photo just last month during a Main Street event recreating an 1890 bicycle photo on Main Street. You wouldn’t know it from the background (although you might know it from the boy’s helmet). This young lad was climbing atop a penny farthing, with some help from “two enthusiastic veterans,” according to Levinson. To complete the era-bending mood of the day, the boy later cruised through the McDonald’s drive thru on the rig (that didn’t actually happen).
