The Teen and Senior pisions of Concord Dance Academy won the regional competition of Dancers Inc. this spring, allowing them to continue on to the national competition held during the summer. All 28 Teen and Senior pision dancers traveled to Foxwoods Resort & Casino for the New England National Finals from July 23 to 26. Out of more than 470 entries from studios and schools across the nation, Concord Dance Academy performed 24 dances. After a long week of intense performances, the following students were awarded National Champion recognition:
Solo winners
Teen All Star Division: 1st place overall winner, Eliza Richards; 9th place, Emily Thunberg; 10th place, Hillary McDonald.
Senior All Star Division: 3rd place, Nicole Cullinan; 8th place, Sierra Taylor.
Duet/trio winners
