Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is offering a free presentation “Pills & Spills – A Discussion About Medications and Falls” on Thursday, July 17 from 5 to 6 p.m. at TLC Medical Adult Day Care, 211 Loudon Road in Concord.
Medications make a difference – generally a positive one – in the lives of many people. At the same time, all medications carry side effects and can interact with other medications. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, common problems include vision changes, dizziness or lightheadedness, drowsiness, and impaired alertness or judgment.
Learn how medications can affect your balance and can increase your chances of falling. This program is presented by Lori Connors, PharmD, Concord Regional VNA Pharmacist.
