Here’s your chance to influence the menu at a restaurant in our fair city, readers: Boloco is adding a new smoothie, and it’s putting the naming rights in the hands of public. Hopefully that won’t make you drop your burrito.
Boloco is creating a smoothie made of kale, mango, cucumbers, celery, apple juice, honey, and ice to put on its menu at all of its restaurants, but it still has no idea what it will be called. That’s up to you – suggestions were accepted for six days last week, with three finalists announced yesterday. This is where you come in, though – it’s now the official elimination round, where you have a say in which of the three choices finds its way to the menu for good. Do your part as an American citizen and rock the vote.
The Food Snob was ultimately disqualified for having a competitive advantage as the world’s foremost food and flavor expert, but his suggestions would have been either Kale Away With Me or We Hit The Kale On The Head. Here’s hoping the general public is at least as on point as the Snob.
