Concord Community Music School is accepting registrations for its three summer programs – Music & Movement, Jazz Camp and Creative Arts Camp.
Music & Movement will be held Tuesdays, June 3 through July 8.
Sing, Dance and Paint (ages 3-6) will use art, dance, music, poetry and writing in many combinations to encourage exploration of the interrelationship of the fine arts.
Move, Shake & Sing (8-30 months) will explore musical instruments, sing new songs and dance. This class for toddlers and their parents/care providers will engage children from head to toe and keep everyone moving.
Yoga & Dance (2-6 years) will explore yoga stretches and dance moves with your child.
Jazz Camp, open to instrumentalists, ages 12 to adult, will be held July 7-11 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and participants will work in ensembles, performance classes, the recording studio, improvisation workshops and master classes for each instrument. The week culminates in a recording project of all the ensemble performances.
Creative Arts Camp will be held July 14-18 and July 21-25 for children entering grades 1-6.
The one-week sessions include Singing/Instrumental Music, Dance and Creative Movement and Visual Arts.
