The Scott Lawson Companies, a New England Worker Health and Safety, Workers’ Comp Third Party Administrator and Employee Wellness firm, will hold its 5th annual Blood Drive and Wellness Fair on June 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Scott Lawson Companies headquarters at 20 Chenell Drive.
The fair is free with events and exhibits focused on health, wellness and safety. Activities will include test driving the Distracted Driving Crash Simulator, the American Express Blood Bus for much needed blood donations and learning the benefits of reiki.
Visitors can also enjoy food, enter the wellness raffle and take home lots of fabulous giveaways.
The Blood Drive and Wellness Fair was created as an extension of the Scott Lawson Companies’ robust wellness programs offered to its clients, and from its commitment to its staff and the local community.
What began as two separate employee events – the blood drive and the wellness fair – is now a combined, community event open to the public.
To donate blood, please schedule an appointment at admin@slgl.com or call 228-3610 or stop by the Scott Lawson Companies office. Last year between staff and guests, 24 pints were collected and they are hoping to match that amount this year.
