There will be a yard sale at Rundlett Middle School on May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with all of the proceeds going to the Ready To Learn Fair that is being hosted on August 20 at Rundlett.
Any money raised goes directly to our students, helping them feel excited about attending Rundlett Middle School. This fair is to help students be fully prepared for a new academic school year by receiving: haircuts, immunizations, backpacks filled with supplies and more. (Any unsold items from the yard sale will be donated to a local Goodwill.)
The Ready To Learn Fair is a new event to be held one week before schools starts. It is our goal and mission to help students receive certain services in order to be prepared to excel in the classroom. There will also be coupon booklets for food products and hopefully a new outfit that students can feel confident in when walking through the doors.
At the event, we are also looking to promote what healthy is by discussing: the importance of dental care, taking care of the body, and how to increase a healthier lifestyle.
What’s a fair without enough great items, though? Organizers are looking for items to be donated for the fair – please feel free to contact us and we can arrange pick up/drop off of those items: Lynn Reyes at lreye@concordnhschools.net; Caroline Keane at ckean@concordnhschools.net; or Nicole Newman at nnewman@concordnhschools.net.
In particular, items they are looking for include any type of school supplies, gently-used clothing or shoes, backpacks and clean water bottles.
