The Crisis Center of Central NH held a photo shoot for men who are community leaders (they wanted to get men involved, and this looked like a perfect opportunity, don’t you think?) to get ready for the Oct. 1 Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event to raise awareness of (and money for) domestic and sexual assault in Merrimack County. Those are definitely her shoes!
The Crisis Center is the sole source of comprehensive support for those affected by these crimes in the county.
The first registration event will take place at the Barley House on June 5 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Please rsvp to dawna@cccnh.org. The walk/run will take place in downtown Concord along Main Street on Oct. 1, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
