Members of the N.H. Family Support Conference Planning Committee invite the public to attend the third-annual N.H. Family Support Conference Bar-B-Que on April 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Heritage Harley-Davidson, located at 142 Manchester St.
There’s no cost to attend, though folks are encouraged to make a donation.
All proceeds benefit the N.H. Family Support Conference, which focuses on the accomplishments and challenges associated with inclusion and transitions throughout the life span of an inpidual with a developmental disability.
The first conference was a one-day event held in 1987 with approximately 75 attendees. Since then, the conference has expanded into a weekend conference now attended by over 700 people.
The New Hampshire Family Support Conference offers parents, family members and caregivers the opportunity to learn current information on a variety of topics, as well as providing an important forum to meet others sharing the same journey.
This year’s conference will be held May 2-4 at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center.
