Bees program to open Bow Garden Club season

The Bow Garden Club will open their 2014 garden club year of meetings and educational programs on April 7th with a program on “Mason Bees”, presented by current N.H. Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. President Michelle Mensinger.

Mensinger will talk about the basis of her president’s theme, “Bee aware, Bee concerned and Bee a friend to pollinators!”

Mensinger will speak about honey bees and why they are endangered and yet so necessary to pollinate our gardens, orchards and farm crops.

The program will be held at Bow’s Old Town Hall, 91 Bow Center Road, with refreshments and social time beginning at 6 p.m. and the program taking place at 6:30 p.m.

ll are welcome and new members are encouraged.
