The Concord Garden Club hosts John Forti for a talk entitled “The Edible Landscape” at the McLane Center on Thursday, March 20 at 1 p.m. Forti is a nationally recognized lecturer, garden historian, ethno botanist and garden writer. His talk will focus on helping to explore how to eat locally and enjoy the fruits of your labors. He will talk about planting edible gardens and landscapes.
This program offers meaningful ways to engage ourselves, our kids and our community in cultivating a sense of place from seed to table. The McLane Center is located at 84 Silk Farm Road. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
