On Wednesday, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., the Penacook Branch Library will be having a drop-in open house to thank Liz Blanchard, Penacook’s retired city councilor, for her years of work and diligence in keeping the PBL open for the village all these years.
Light refreshments will be served. Cards can be left at the branch for those unable to attend.
In case of snow, the event will be held Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
