Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is seeking volunteers to offer companionship and support to hospice patients in local nursing care facilities and in homes.
The next training session is being held on Wednesdays, March 12 to May 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The application deadline is Feb. 6.
Hospice volunteers support care by providing companionship to hospice patients, reading to hospice patients, running errands for hospice patients or cooking meals at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House.
