With winter upon us, Beaver Meadow is now open for ice skating, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
The new skating pond is open from dawn to dusk daily (as conditions allow. No hockey is allowed.
Condition updates will be posted on Parks and Rec web, concordnh.gov/recreation.
If you come to skate, please park in the parking lot and walk down to the pond edge to access the pond. We have placed benches and will get picnic tables this week.
Ski Trails have been groomed and a snowshoe trail blazed down the left side of the 10th fairway to access the City Forest between the Golf Course and the river.
The Bar and Grille will be open the next few weekends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
Best of all skiing, skating and snowshoeing are free and open to the general public.
In addition, the White Park Pond and Hockey Rink are also open at this time. Please follow all posted rules.
