Capital Quilters Guild will meet at Havenwood, 33 Christian Ave., on Nov. 8, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Our speaker, Sue Reich of Washington Depot, Conn., is a well-known author, quilt historian and quilter. Sue will speak about World War II quilts and display some of her collection and offer her books for sale.
For this presentation the public is invited to attend. Veterans, Guild members and seniors are admitted free. There is a $5 fee for all other guests.
Sue’s presentation will begin at 7 p.m.
