Here we have proof that traffic is not a new phenomenon in downtown Concord, though there is admittedly less horse and buggy congestion these days. This photo, courtesy of faithful reader Earl Burroughs, shows Low Avenue in the late 1800s or early 1900s. Some artifacts live on to this day: note the Thompson and Hoague building in the background, featured most recently in our latest scavenger hunt.
