The Basil W. Woods Jr. Chapter of Trout Unlimited is offering beginner and intermediate fly tying classes beginning Jan. 7 at the Passaconaway Club, Garvin’s Falls Rd.
The beginner’s class runs from Jan. 7 to Feb. 11 and will be held on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. The intermediate class runs from Feb. 18 to March 18 and will also be held Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.
Materials, including vices and tools, will be provided as needed. The six-week beginner class costs $50. The five-week intermediate class costs $75.

The classes are limited to 15 students on a first come, first served basis. Students under the age of 18 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
