A local dog feels the love by snuggling up to one neighbor and getting rubs from another. Man, a dog’s life is tough.

Every year on the first weekend in October, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church holds a Blessing of the Animals event for its members. More than 70 animals, mostly dogs and a few stuffed, were blessed over three services at the church this year in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.
