Did you know that 33 percent of New Hampshire’s third graders are overweight or obese, and 62 percent of New Hampshire adults are overweight or obese? The Capital Area Wellness Coalition will address this serious health issue with a free screening of the “Challenges” segment of The Weight of the Nation HBO series Oct. 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Red River Theatres. Following the film you are invited to join a panel of community leaders in an open discussion of how we can re-envision our community to improve access to healthy food and enhance walking and biking.
