The SNOB (Somewhat North Of Boston) Film Festival announces its call for entries in all categories, including kids, student, short, and feature length films.
The 2013 committee is looking for local, national, and international films to exhibit during the upcoming 12th Annual SNOB Film Festival in November. The festival is scheduled for Nov. 7-10 at Red River Theatres.
Submission period has begun. Film entry information is available at snobfilmfestival.com or at withoutabox.com.
“Regular Deadline” for all film categories is no later than Aug. 13. “Late Deadline” for all film categories is no later than Sept. 3. “Extended Deadline” for all film categories is no later than Sept. 17. No late entries will be accepted. All filmmakers will be notified by the middle of October if their films have been selected to exhibit during the festival.
The SNOB Film Festival is looking for films from professional and amateur filmmakers working in all aesthetic disciplines and genres including narrative, documentary, animation, action/adventure, mockumentary, drama, comedy, music, and experimental films. Films can range from one minute to 180 minutes.
Each year The SNOB Film Festival plays host to an average of 20 feature length films and 40 short films. Approximately 95 percent of the films screened at the SNOB Film Festival are directly from submitted films. Most of the films shown at the festival have filmmakers present during the screens to allow the audience to ask questions about the films.
