Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care received a grant contribution from The Farrah Fawcett Foundation to support two 12-week sessions of the Anticancer Lifestyle Program.
The Anticancer Lifestyle Program, designed by staff and faculty of the Payson Center, is an innovative program for people diagnosed with cancer. Evidence exists that a healthy diet, adequate physical activity, lowered exposure to toxins, social support and stress management all help to maximize the body’s natural defenses against cancer.
The Anticancer Lifestyle Program seeks to help patients self-manage their cancer in a supportive group environment.
