Fiction
Forensics professor Gideon Oliver and his wife Julie are in Tuscany to visit some old friends whose family owns a vineyard. While there, Gideon is asked to look at some skeletons from a recent case, but he finds problems with the carabinieri’s conclusions. There are many odd things about the way the skeletons are found, where they are resting, etc., and Gideon steps in to help. Then he finds out that these bones are the skeletons of his friend’s father and stepmother. Can Gideon sort out the many puzzles that these skeleton’s provide and get to the truth? Is one of the family a murderer, and will they strike again?
This is another very enjoyable mystery with the charming “Skeleton Detective.”
