The Frederick H. Hooper Institute teaches local children the wonders of agriculture, forestry, botany and other outdoor endeavours. There are tons of little sugar houses in town, many of which may be boiling when you visit. We  saw plenty of buckets up at Great Brook Farm when we stopped by – give them a call at 756-4358 to see when they are making maple syrup and you can see the process in action.

Each spring, we muster up the guts to venture outside our fair city and find another cool New Hampshire town to spend the day in. This year, we headed to Walpole. It was a sweet and cheesy (in a good way) time!
