Feb. 23, cyclists at the Concord Family YMCA will climb atop indoor bikes at 8 a.m, officially kicking off a four-hour Cycle-A-Thon. Led by instructors, cyclists will spin from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Participants can enter as solo riders or as part of a team. While the YMCA offers indoor bikes, riders are also welcome to bring their own bikes and wind trainers. Water and bagels will be provided; cyclists should plan to otherwise be self-sufficient.
Registration options are flexible, and participants can sign up for one, two, three or four hours. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. The event is open to the community; YMCA membership is not required. Registration fee for solo riders is $80 for the full four hours, or $25 per hour for inpiduals or teams. Register by calling 228-9622 or by stopping by the YMCA’s Welcome Center at 15 N. State St. Visit concordymca.org for more.
