ConcordTV announces its search for Concord’s Six Most Fascinating Inpiduals of 2012.
Who can be considered fascinating? Think of an eclectic mix of captivating people from the greater Concord area who are prominent names (or work quietly behind the scenes) in the fields of politics, entertainment, sports, economic development, popular culture, philanthropy, civic pride, entertainment and beyond.
Why only six inpiduals? Because the inpiduals selected will be revealed during each hour of the six-hour Concord On Air telecast April 14 from noon to 6 p.m. Until that day, their names will be a closely held secret. The selection will be made from nominations sent in to the station by the public. Nomination forms can be found on the ConcordTV website, yourconcordtv.org. The deadline for submission is March 11.
ConcordTV would also like to announce that Lindsay Irwin, a 13-year-old student at Rundlett Middle School, has been selected as the station’s junior TV host. Irwin, who was chosen from a group of 23 talented students who auditioned at the TV studio Feb. 2, will begin her hosting duties during the April Concord On Air event.
“We’re thrilled to have Lindsay join ConcordTV as our first junior host.” said Doris Ballard, executive director of the station. “Her high level of enthusiasm, and natural talent on camera, will be a definite asset as we look to air more youth-oriented content on our community channels.
The station also selected a junior host alternate, Emma Nakuci, a 10-year-old student who attends Christa McAuliffe School. Nakuci will also have her official debut during Concord On Air. Both will have opportunities to continue their hosting duties throughout the year.
