There will be free tax preparation at three Tax-Aide Sites in Concord. The AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide program provides free tax preparation and e-filing for low and moderate income taxpayers.
Staffed by IRS-certified volunteers, Tax-Aide sites are located in Concord at:
∎ Granite United Way, 46 S. Main St. (entrance from Concord Street). Hours are Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
∎ Merrimack County Savings Bank, 503 South St., Bow. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
∎ New Hampshire Federal Credit Union, 70 Airport Road. Hours are Monday 1-4 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
To schedule an appointment, dial 2-1-1. A community services helpline, 2-1-1 is sponsored by United Ways of New Hampshire. Nearly 50 Tax-Aide sites are available throughout New Hampshire to serve residents of all ages. Taxpayers do not need to be an AARP member to use this free service.
